Mother/ Daughter "T" Party

We finally were able to have the Mother/Daughter activity for Activity Days. Aura and I thought it would be fun to do a tea party, but since we are LDS we thought we would change it up a bit. So"T" stands for terrific, talented moms who we strive to be like! In preparation for this dinner we had the girls make the invitations which turned out really cute. They also had an etiquette and manners activity.
It looks a little bare, but in person it looked a lot better.
We also had a previous activity where the girls made flowers out of tissue paper for the centerpieces in fun, bright colors.
Everyone was invited to wear their favorite dress up hat.
After dinner we played a game similar to the Newlywed Game to see how well the mothers and daughters knew each other. They all really enjoyed it.
A light dinner was served so the girls could practice their manners. Menu: turkey wraps with chive cream cheese, spinich pasta salad with sesame dressing, a variety of fresh fruit, creme puffs drizzled with chocolate, brownie bites, lemon drop cookies, and sparkling limeaid .
