Open for business

Here they are! I came up with these outfits as some examples of what I can make and sell. I can do custom orders, you pick and pay for your own fabric which can range from 4$ a yard to 10$ a yard.(If you ever visit Material Girls, you will drool over all the darling fabrics there.) To make these outfits, it takes 1-1 1/2 yards. I can make any size from 6-12 mo. to 10 yr. By choosing your own fabric you can make an outfit to go with those cute shoes that nothing will match with, or have matching outfits for your daughters, or dress her in an adorable outfit that she can wear during any season, like 4th of July or Halloween! My fee is 20$ to create something your little girls will love! If you want to learn and make your own with my help, 10$.

Sew, sew, sew

I finally finished Madison's dress. I thought I would try something different, so I made some bloomers to go underneath the dress. Doesn't she look happy to be wearing it! NOT! She did not want to cooperate in taking a picture.

My friend gave me an idea of selling outfits like the skirt and shirt I made for Madison in the "How cute is that?" post. I think I am going to give it a try and be a vendor at a boutique. I will make a few outfits to sell, but will also be able to do custom orders. You pick the fabric and size, and I'll make it for you! If anyone is interested just let me know!

Madison's Turn

After 3 years of watching her big brother head off to school, it is finally Madison's turn to go to pre-school. She is so excited for her turn to learn! I know it will be a fun year for her.




I just had to share these pictures. One morning the kids were playing in the backyard and Trent had a blow out. Trenton got into the car and got poop all over it, and a few other items including his sister. We all cleaned up the trail of poop, and McKay got the job of cleaning the car. The funny thing is that he took off his shirt to do it. We don't know where he has seen this, Chris and I do not take off our shirts to wash the cars. We thought it was pretty funny.

Peanut butter and bananas

I just love the combination of peanut butter and bananas! Have you ever had a PB and banana sandwhich? If you haven't, you should give it a try. It was one of Elvis' favorite sandwiches. Growing up my mom would make us popsicles out of PB and bananas, and now I make them for my kids! They taste good, and are good for you!

6 bananas
1/3 C smooth PB
1-2 T milk (only use if having a difficult time getting all ingred. to blend)
2 T agave nectar or honey

Combine in blender
Pour into popsicle molds and freeze

How cute is that?

I have the sewing bug again and have challenged myself with a few projects. I thought this pattern was adorable, and can't wait to make Madison another one for summer next year. If I had the money I would be making one of these for every little girl I know. They are so easy to make.
Sometimes this fabric reminds me of eukaryote cells. He,he.
Now to dress her up in it! How cute is that?
A couple of my friends have made many of these applique shirts and I always wanted to try it. I thought this was the perfect opportunity. I love the flowers growing up the shirt with the wooden buttons.
A purse I made and donated to the silent auction for the school.
It is a little of a challenge to find cute flannel, unless you want to pay 12 dollars a yard. So this is as cute as it gets. This is going to be a nightgown for Madison.

This fabric I just love! Red is my favorite color. I am going to make a Sunday dress for Madison with it.
