Four?

I am letting the secret out! I have a bun in the oven! That means 4 kids! Ahhhh! I am nervous, but very excited to have a baby around again. Mckay is 7, Madison is 5 and Trent is 2 1/2. I think I am 8 weeks, so that will put my delivery date at the end of Oct. or beginning of Nov. That's pretty good spacing between the kiddos, don't you agree? I really dislike my 1st trimesters, a lot of morning sickness and tiredness. I feel like I am barely keeping my head above water with everything I have to do. I am trying to do as little as possible and just take it easy. It will all be worth it in the end when I get to hold that precious angel in my arms. If any of you out there have any tips for me on having four children, send them my way, I am going to need them!

I have been sew busy!

Special delivery!

There is nothing like receiving a package from Grandma and Grandpa! The kids were so thrilled with this special delivery. Inside they discovered many fun things. The most special part about it were some leather pouches handmade by Grandpa Bill. The detail on them was very impressive. I know that there was a lot of love and work put into each one. Not only did my kids receive one, but all the other 24 grandkids had one made special for them too!



The leather coat Madison is wearing is one that Chris wore as a child. It has that Davy Crockett look to it, doesn't it? (Please ignore the bed head hair on my kids, I was not in the mood that day.)

We were so excited to take the kids to Disney on Ice. I bought the tickets over the phone from a guy at Energy Solutions ticket sales. He told me the show started at 7:00, and to pick up our tickets at 6:30 and get seated in time for the show. When we arrived we were surprised to see the halls empty and discovered that the show started at 6:30!!! We missed the best parts too! Cars and Little Mermaid, the ones our kids were really looking forward to. So we pretty mush missed half the show. Arghhhh! I called the same guy the next day to let him know what happened and he is working on giving us some of our dough back!

The parts that we did see were really fun and of course had that fun Disney magic!

Would you like a visit from a leprechaun?

Last year I learned of this cute St. Patrick's Day tradition for kids from my friend. Gather the kids and have them decorate a shoe box to go along with the holiday. The night before St. Patrick's Day you place the box where moonlight can touch it. This way the leprechauns know they are welcome to your home and will leave a surprise! The next morning the children discover fun, green treats for all! The leprechaun also plays silly tricks throughout the house: pillows stacked in the middle of the room, green toilet water, socks hanging from a shelf, shoes in the refrigerator, etc. I love this idea and makes St. Patrick's Day always a day to look forward to.

Lake to Lake Relay

Over the weekend I participated in the Lake to Lake Relay in St.George! It is 50 miles from Gunlock Reservoir to Sand Hollow Reservoir. There are 5 on a team and each had two legs. Anne, Kelli, Laura, Lindsey, and myself made up the Sole Sisters team! My first leg was 5.34, and two hours later my second leg was 4.4. We had a blast! A new hobby

Trent has a couple new hobbies these days! He loves to climb into the dryer to hang out. The other night I put a load of clothes into dry and came back an hour later to take it out. To my surprise wet clothes were all over the laundry room. This chore was probably done so that Trenton could get into his favorite hiding place once again.

He also has a new friend that is always at his side: Red (the firetruck from Cars). I really love it when he drives it along the walls of my house too! Arghhh!
