Little Fingers

Oh the silly things kids do. Trenton loves to poke his little fingers in tiny holes. His favorite is my pasta strainer. He also loves the tops of markers and pens and any toy with a hole perfect for his little index finger. He walks around for a good twenty minutes, poking his little finger in and out. So funny!

Going private

I received a comment from some random guy trying to sell me a cell phone on one of my posts. Well, that did it for me. I'm going to go private on the blog. Email me at kristinbhoffmann@yahoo.com if you want to be on my list of friends, or just put it in as a comment. Thanks!

Birthday Time

We celebrated McKay's 6th birthday and Madison's 4th birthday this week! They are 2 years and 1 day apart. Chris wanted them born on the same day, but I wanted them to have their own special birthdays always. They wanted these special cakes which I attempted and thought turned out alright for my firsts. The Barbie cake is an ice cream cake which was surprisingly easy to make. I can't believe I have a 6 and 4 year old! Weren't they darling babies!

Jr. Jazz

McKay gets to play on a Jr. Jazz team with a few friends from church. We enjoy watching the games, some kids are quite good, they really have some skill. McKay really hussles at the beginning but when he's done he's done. He walks over to the bench and sits down and doesn't want to get up or listen for a while -- that drives his Dad crazy.

Made with love, Grandma

My mom made these dresses for Maddie and her doll for Christmas. How cute is that!! It all started with the shoes she found in LA, so she had to make a matching dress to go. My mom is sooooo talented in everything she does but her sewing is perfection. She always puts a tag in the back of her clothes that say: Made with love, Grandma.

8 years

This post is a little late because I have been crazy busy trying to get things done for the new year in primary. We celebrated on Dec. 30th and began the night with watching a DVD that my good friend helped me make of our last eight years together. Some of the pictures are below. Then we had dinner at Z tejas, I had the best New York strip I've ever eaten. I packed a little overnight bag and surprised Chris with a room at The Little America, we didn't have to go home! The kids were in good hands and we had a wonderful time together. Some of the pics are out of order and I am too lazy to fix them, oh well.

Mt. Vernon, VA, don't you love the overalls?

Our Christmas

This is what the kids first saw Christmas morning. McKay said, "Santa really did come!" Watch out here comes the mess and mounds of wrapping paper!

Madisons' favorite toy was her new stroller. Now I just have to keep reminding her to not run into the walls with it everyday.
Out of all the gifts McKay received this was his favorite. A little remote control car that was a stocking stuffer.
After Christmas was all said and done we wanted to get out of town for a much needed break, so we headed up to Park City and Heber. Here is some of the beautiful scenery.

Some Christmas gifts I made for friends and family. I feel like I am showing off, but I always enjoy seeing what other people create, so here are mine. The makeup bags were a hit. I forgot to take pictures of all the cute prints that I put together. This one is mine. And of coarse some cute little girl aprons to help mom in the kitchen.
