ATTENTION: SERVING IN A PRIMARY PRESIDENCY IS THE BEST CALLING EVER! I don't believe any whom have served could have imagined the blessings without living the experience. Teaching, loving, and learning from the 3rd Ward children was such a pleasure. Little children are at the nexus of the gospel. Their meekness, sincerity, and willingness to learn illustrates the Savior's call to each of us to emulate these precious spirits. Our hearts are full of special, sweet moments in which the Spirit taught through the voice of a child.
For every special, sweet moment there was a silly or challenging moment. No program runs perfectly with spontaneously, energetic children....not to mention our own imperfections. However, working together with talented, caring women like Michelle Bocchino, Jodie Hughes, Susan Carron, and Emily Otteson certainly makes the journey rewarding. These dear sisters deserve our gratitude for their selfless service and sacrifice.
I truly believe there is no greater call than that to teach a child the gospel of Jesus Christ. Everyone can recall a special primary teacher that touched their life. We express our gratitude to the 3rd Ward primary teachers for helping to shape our children's testimonies. We especially appreciate the love and support of a wonderful Bishopric. Witnessing the children grow and progress cannot be expressed. We love them so...our hearts have been forever changed by the Primary. Our Ward is blessed to have Sarah Devenberg, Karen Weston, Kelly Palmer, and Heather Newbold to love and serve our children. These are special women and will do a superb job. It was an amazing journey and we are forever grateful to a loving Heavenly Father for the opportunity to have served His children.
